German Chocolate Donuts
 
Wet Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Vanilla or Plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 Cup Water
2 Eggs
2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
2 Teaspoons Vanilla
 
Dry Ingredients:
1 Cup All-purpose Flour
3/4 Cup Almond Flour
3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
 
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° or temperature specified by donut pan. Grease and flour donut pan. 
 
Mix Wet and Dry ingredients separately; combine (TIP: Don’t over stir). Fill donut pan, each cup 1/2 full.
 
Bake 20 minutes or time specified by donut pan. Cool 5 minutes. Remove. Top with German Chocolate Glaze (recipe below) and toasted coconut. Makes 12 donuts. 
 
German Chocolate Glaze
 
Stovetop Ingredients:
1 1/4 Cups Brown Sugar
8 Ounces Evaporated Milk 
3/4 Cup Salted Butter
3 Egg Yolks
 
Additional Ingredients:
3 Cups Sweetened Coconut
6 Ounces Pecans (Chopped)
 
Directions:
Mix stovetop ingredients over medium heat until thickened; strain. Stir in additional ingredients.
